Legend has it that Peter lost the keys to heaven, and in the place where the keys fell to earth the first primroses grew.
Primroses are perennial plants, meaning that the same plant grows and blooms in the same location for many years.
The high levels of fertilizers used in industrial agriculture, as well as herbicides, have caused a significant decline in this plant, which was previously much more widespread.

Spring comes and by the streams, along the paths, in the forest, everywhere, you can see ficaria verna flowers.
In some places in Europe, it receives curious popular names due to the bulges of the roots. In Holland, it was called "rooster's testicles", in the former Yugoslavia "cat's testicles", in some areas of France "dog's testicles" and also "friar's balls", alluding to the effect that the abstinence of clerics would have on the size of your genitals.

Im Dunkel an der Hauswand entdeckt: ein Spinnenläufer - spannendes Tier. Gesamtlänge bis zu 15cm, wobei der Körper max. 3cm ausmacht. Vorallem ist er schnell, wohl bis zu 1,5km/h.

I welcome the colorful spring with these three photos.
The first, the Crocus flowers, because they are very variable in their flowering time and so bright in color.
In the second photo, the Eranthis for being one of the first to appear in spring. And the third photo with a field of red poppies, because the Poppy is the flower of hope, peace and love.
I took these photos last spring in Aalborg, my lovely spring spot.

Pilme (Pseudomeloe sanguinolentus), characteristic beetle of the flowering desert. Unlike the female, the male has white spots on its back.
In Chile, the times I went to the flowery desert. I had a great time watching these beetles, it was fascinating to watch them eat small succulents with their voracious appetite. With my small Sony DSC-WX60 camera, I captured that fascinating moment.
