I couldn't think of much worse than joining a local area's WhatsApp group.

I've just come across a Raycon earbuds "review" in quotes claiming that they're the best earbuds for vi people, and of course the video is sponsored by Raycon. So no, I bet they're not. It'll be just 99% copy he's been told to say to get that sweet YouTube money.

Why does VoiceOver think that ♡, is a Korean character? It's a heart.

For shits and giggles I thought I'd see if Be My AI could tell me the layout of a keyboard I was looking at. I asked it if the alt key was directly to the right of the Windows key. It said no, the key directly to the right of the Windows key is the Caps lock key.
So no, it can't.

I think it'd be awesome if there was an interactive fiction interpreter that had an interface similar to Mushclient or VIPMud with input and output edit fields you could navigate like any other edit control.
I have no idea how to even begin making such a thing, so if anyone wants to take that idea and run with it, feel free.

Finally got round to clearing out my desk drawer. It's just been full of junk like old Wi-Fi dongles, an old Logitech wireless mouse with a wheel that goes "Weeeeee!" when you flick it, even a long ago used iTunes gift card. I made sure I recorded the mouse going "Weeeee!" before I through it out though.

I love the artificial engine noises electric cars make at low speeds. One just went past making almost a square wave type sound.

We've just been for a glass of Pepsi in a local pub. First time we've done that in years and it was quite nice. Not too loud.

We're watching Independence Day: Resurgence for the first time. So far the best thing about it is Jeff Goldblum being Jeff.

I wish Twitch streamers would read out the comment they're replying to. It's so distracting hearing them randomly talking to themselves when you're not paying attention to the trillions of messages coming into the chat every second, or even not looking at it at all.
It's one reason why I don't watch Twitch streams.

When I was a kid I thought reading Braille was a chore since I've always been slow at it. I regret that now. Kids, don't be like me.

I find it weird when people replace the audio in videos of them going somewhere with a random song. I want to hear what the place sounds like, also what does Bill Withers' Lovely Day have to do with a market in Denmark?

I really do overthink emoji language. I started wondering how you'd form tenses like saying you've done the thing the emoji represents. Probably with face emojis and arrows.

LGR, there was no need to write "the future" in your video title using fancy text like this:
𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘
When will you lot get bored of pretty letters?

@NVAccess What's the current way of legally getting a copy of Eloquence these days? I assume the only option is Code Factory's SAPI 5 version?

A but can do every,
From go, have I just knowledge?
Like more not o people,
Quite rather so that us very will,

Is there an online group for blind musicians that isn't Facebook? So an e-mail list, forum, discord server etc?
I don't mean one dedicated to your favourite DAW of choice, I'm in a couple of those already. I mean just a general musicians group if that makes sense.

It slightly worried me that the self-checkout in Aldi played the exclamation sound from Windows 95's Utopia sound scheme every time you scanned something. I just hope it wasn't actually running Windows 95.

Morning.
I had a few weird dreams last night, including one where someone gave me a computer program that, when run, would make your pc play a loud noise after 16 years. I ran it then tried to get rid of it.

Wikipedia mentions that it's Global Accessibility Awareness Day on the English version's main page, but to create an account on there and many of the Wikimedia Foundation's other projects you have to complete an inaccessible captcha. They offer an option for someone to create an account for you if you can't fill it in, but that's not good enough.
There's been a ticket open about this since 2006 according to the date stamp and nothing's been done.

I think there's a shortage of reviews out there of blindness products, and if I find any at all they tend to all be in Accessworld or the Braille Monitor. Something needs to be done about it but I dunno what.\

So today is Global Accessibility Awareness day or GAAD. I love that Eloquence's American English voice pronounces that as god.
