For some reason randomly remembered the surreal moment my partner tried to get rid of an unwanted 'pie maker' thing online.
A prospective buyer was genuinely upset that it was just effectively a pie cooker which I sort of get, except I don't know what pie based alchemy they expected where you could pour in random ingredients one end and a fully constructed and cooked pie would emerge out the other as that is precisely what they assumed it did.

They are part of The Big Give's Art For Impact fundraising campaign which means every £ raised this week is matched.
The theatre is raising money to double the number of free bursary places across their Get Involved programme and aiming to offer subsidised tickets in an effort to increase access to the arts for young people in the local community who would not otherwise be unable to get access

In not wanting to correct a taxi driver in Budapest who either misheard or didn't understand me, I spent most of the journey nodding along and reminiscing about a holiday I didn't have. He'd say something like 'did you go to the Baths?' I'd say 'No' and he'd say 'oh nice which ones?' and I'd mumble my way through.
Before long we were back and forthing about a completely fictional trip purely because I didn't want to correct him...
