concerns about his health led him to end the challenge early after facing the harsh realities of homelessness and his own health issues

‘My personal health has declined to the point where I really need to start taking care of it. Throughout the entire project, we haven’t shared it with you, but I’ve been in and out of the doctor’s office.’

Health concerns? Bitch, you’re supposed to swallow that shit up and work anyway

Black wanted to help his friends rebuild their lives and prove that luck or money was not necessary to become a millionaire - just hard work.

Spoiler alert: he was wrong

Black started off small and managed to make his first $300 by selling furniture online.

‘One of the best things to sell are tables,’ Black explained. 'I started taking ads on Craigslist in the free section, putting it on Facebook Marketplace and selling it for a profit.

‘I acted as the middleman, handling all the logistics between the buyer and the seller.’

Not exactly what I’d call hard work, but shitty assholery

Despite failing to make the million dollars he had aimed for, Black says it was still a successful experiment after demonstrating how it was possible to rebuild his life through the power of determination.

Power of my fucking ass, balance those 64k you made with paying your dad’s chemo and your own health.

Also a noteworthy comment from a reader:

Not to mention the entrepreneurial and computing skills that he had - that he didn’t pick up while living in poverty on the streets.

Because you’re not a millionaire who obviously worked super hard to achieve success

Yes, it was sarcastic.

There’s also the free place to sleep he got simply because someone knew him. Some fame always helps

I would personally vote to remove your nomination because that post makes you sound like a final boss of dad jokes

Like bluetooth. So, not particularly good even for the applications it’s supposed to be used for

We are the majority. The vast majority. It seems like we should be able to combat this.

A disorganized majority is possibly worse than an individual at combating anything

Tinder used to be good 'til around 2016. After that it’s been downhill hard. Last couple times I’ve tried it, I noticed that it literally avoids showing you profiles that have liked you. In my case, I had “45” likes, yet after 300 swipes to the left, that number didn’t go down.

No wonder people just make the profile, leave their instagram handle on a photo or their bio and abandon tinder altogether.

I’ve had more success with bumble, though it’s been 2 months that that piece of shit refuses to recognize my location, which makes everything refuse to work. Permissions are all ok, gps is working, but the app can’t get my position. Customer support is an unhelpful bot that points to the FAQ.

I know grindr is mainly for gay men, so i’d wager those other 2 are also for them, so not decent alternatives for hetero people

Am I paying taxes so the rich people get nicer streets?

Yes, unironically.

How do I get the city to fix our roads too?

By being rich, or having rich friends, or managing to gather a lot of people (50+) at the front of your politicians’ offices (or their homes for extra effect) and make the demand

Auroria is being developed for PC and mobile by Chinese studio Tianjin Wumai Technology, who are owned by megacorp co-publisher Tencent.

Tencent

For this reason alone, I hope it flops hard

Next year, we might see many Genshin Impact-level creature (or bishojo) raising games

The latter sound like they’ll find huge success with all those pillow-waifu lovers

Could be a kemonomimi version, could be a furry version, your mileage will vary greatly according to the person you ask, or the artist you search for

Fun fact, one of the mods that wanted to be the adult palworld mod, Pals of Desire, imploded due to an attempt at monetization, since it was a collection of the then available adult mods by different authors.

I’m still mad I never learnt any “real” spells, nor was never invited to join a coven, despite fulfilling a 1-20 D&D campaign. Dark Dungeons lied to me!!

I did it. I finally did it. After all these years, all the time I spent searching, I found the last known fully offline build for Graal classic.

Back in the day, as a kid, there was a free shareware game that I played an obnoxious amount of times: Graal. Not the shitty “Graal classic” we have today, (it’s a shell of its former self), but the original Graal 1.4.0; I searched EVERYWHERE and I couldn’t even get a blip more than old forums about the game reminiscing...

The part of player created content sounds more like Second Life or VR Chat, but 2D. Or a 2D Roblox, minus the evil corpo behind it.
