From 1528 fairy tale to 1959 Technicolor animation, to 1983 "blue" erotic fantasy... Most fairy tales get re-interpreted, but few with pedigree. Until 2011 and "Fifty Shades" no other sexy trilogy caused such a stir. Perhaps the trend from Technicolor to off-color to Grey reflects worlds into which they were created.

I've wanted to read this guy's books since they were new. Sadly, I haven't much time to read. They're on my endless TBR. The last books I read were in Dec. '19, bus-bound due to major car work. "A Princess of Mars" & "Treasure Island" got me through. I really want to keep this 1st/1st gem, but it's not to be.

I love WGI competitions!
I grew up in a neighborhood with a hotel off my back yard. The hotel parking lot was flanked by a large hill. We'd sit up there and watch competitors practice in the parking lot, like it was a mini arena. 😄

I believe the Dayton Convention Center is one of the WGI venues? Our shop is about a 10-minute walk straight down East Fifth Street. A lot of WGI folks visit this area, thanks to many nearby restaurants & other cool shops. 🙂👍

Ahsoka is steeped in Clone Wars lore. I've watched the 'toons, but not with committed dedication. It made Ahsoka feel a bit unfamiliar as a standalone series. Other than that, is full of great new stuff. Alas, there's a great character whose story seemed to have a place in future stories, but the actor passed away, likely leaving those tales untold - in live-action at least. It's worth a watch for any Star Wars fan.
