#FelineFriday Staff is remodeling our Catio ensuite litter box. #TabbyCat#Stevie has been chucking out quite a bit of our very expensive litter, plus the Midwestern spring winds have been blowing it out of our current box. Staff is going to try using a DIY storage bin. Us felines are auditioning this bix. So far we like hopping in and out of it. After #CatDaddy cuts an opening in it and some litter is added, we'll see how we like it. What do you think? #Cats

While it was raining all day here, us pets slept all day in our beds. Staff worked in the creepy basement clearing out 20+ years of consumerism. They bagged up 4 large lawn bags of trash, empty boxes, and various broken things. In addition they bagged up another 3 of donation items and 2 giant bins of children's books! Good job you guys. MILES to go before you sleep, but excellent start! #Sunday
Guess what pals? I'm limping considerably less 😺this #CaturdayEve! I seem to be moving more gracefully too. But I'm only interested in eating at night 🌜now. Staff will lay out my delicious homemade 🍗chimkin in the morning 🌞 but if I don't eat within 30 minutes, it gets taken up again for later. My day 🌞begins in the sandbox, then I zoom the floor of my territory, I zoom up the SkyWalk, running and jumping, back down across end tables, chairs, and beds where hoomans be sleeping, then back up to Gym Wall. Health Update:
X-ray showed nothing of interest. Vet recommended waiting at least another month, give me calming drops to cope with mean girl Betty, & encourage feelings of well being. But I can't be still. I like jumping, zooming, climbing and running. So... we wait to give my body more time to heal itself. #Cats#TabbyCat#Stevie
@thepoliticalcat@666k9s When I started with my slightly arthritic elbow, it took ages to get better because part of my usual inspection route involves jumping down off a roof. Every time I do this, which is at least once a day, I aggravate the previous injury. Even if the humans open the gate for me, I still insist on doing the jump because it's my routine. This is me doing it today.
My point is, even sensible cats will do stupid stuff without concern for injury if it is their routine.
@thepoliticalcat She said the man did a funny spoken word version of Hot Rod, by Herman and the Hermits. She dislocated a rib and both hips by laughing, which was in addition to the back pain that feels suspiciously like a slipped disk, which she has been ignoring for a week.
