A lot of the beginning of the movie "The Firm" has the partners and associates selling the place as "a family', which the main character and his wife buy into hook line and sinker. Obviously this turns south in the movie but it's wise advise in the real world too. Any business that sells the place as being "like a family" should be interpreted as being "like a mafia family"...at best. Team? Sure. Family? Run for the hills...unless you are legitimately family and even then my general advise is to be careful about going into business with friends or family. #TheFirm#wisdom
