Reserection Monument by James Philip in Glasgow's Nercopolis. It's a memorial for 2nd Lieutenant Ian Campbell Chrystal of the Seaforth Highlanders who was killed near Cavrelle in France on 1st May 1917 aged 29, and is buried in St Laurent Blangy.
James Philip was one of Aberdeen's finest granite masons, and as well as creating sculptures for a number of Scottish war memorials, he also sculpted eight figures for the Titanic Memorial in Liverpool.
Stonehaven's war memorial, sited in an imposing hilltop position overlooking the sea just to the south of the town.
