leaving for a month in #Indonesia tomorrow. packing light, trying to decide if I'll actually need or use my #tripod?

I feel like I'll miss something without it, but my camera is good to iso 2000 at least. Are tripods necessary nowadays, or am I being old fashioned?

Have ordered a tripod and quick-release system. Given that I've spent half a weekend figuring out what to buy this purchase hopefully will not be complete crap.

Tried to find a middle ground between affordable and decent quality

Ordered a Smallrig AP-02 and a PGYTECH snaplock adapter and plates.

I assume somebody will reply within 5 minutes it's a waste of money

#DelphiForums.

Been using it all summer, and this is one of the best photography accessories to shop this year. https://somegadgetguy.com/b/3im
Ulanzi's travel tripod is the lightest I've ever used, and the price is shockingly low.

No #tripod required, just hold your #iPhone reasonably steady and let #MachineLearning do the rest.

    Foetid bloat drone, tripod conversion.

I like tripods, Nurgle is all about the 3's, just swap the 3 fans for legs...
Many hours later, you have this.

I also scratch-built the missing weapon options and magnetised all 3.

As with Nurgle the painting involves a lot of pus seeping and, particularly because of the fleshmower, lots of blood splatter.

Some closer views of one of the Foetid bloat drone's weapon options: the Heavy blight launcher.

This was scratchbuilt, but I did use some parts of my previous Helbrute conversion.
The ring of teeth from around the HB's head became the weapon's opening, and one of the exhaust's became the rear of this thing.

The ammo drum is scratchbuilt and the connecting "hose" is magnetised halfway for ease of use with the model.

Close-ups of the other weapons for the Foetid bloat drone tripod conversion.

The default plague-spitters were magnetised but are otherwise unchanged.

    The Flesh-mower is scratchbuilt.

Due to the implications of the flesh-mower I added a lot of blood splatter to the model.
