Playing my first game tonight in the Havant Wargaming Blood Bowl league, which I'm running. Will be performing Wood Elf shithousery.

My opponent is a virtual newbie (playing Nurgle), so I have to walk that fine line between being helpful and welcoming...

...and not losing.

Sardonic Feculence Stands Tall!

More progress on the Nurgle Knight Tyrant! I won't finish it completely tonight, but he will be far enough along to attend Tanksgiving tomorrow at the local GW. Still to do: trim on the upper carapace; gun housing stuff; so, so much oozy goo; and hide more Nurglings around the frame!

@thatdamnelf @warhammer40k sneaks, (or as stealthily as you can with a tank) up behind it with a Shadowsword.

Great looking model. 😃

Noxious Blightbringer.

A few modifications to the stock model:
Moved the bell arm up to make him look less static, as if challenging someone.

Moved the nurgling from hanging on the backpack to following along, like a child clinging to a parent.

And I didn't like how the chains around the back were all pointing straight out, so I bent them all to show some weight.

Rusty, pus-covered paint-job. Even added some texture to the cloth.

Malignant Plaguecaster.

Slight re-pose, removing the moulded puff of smoke.
Added tentacles and modified the staff to look like diseased wood.

Then painted with a pale green and bright orange rust trim.

And when you are painting tentacles, especially evil tentacles, they have to be purple.

Plague Marine squad.

In addition to fixing some of the mould/casting limitations, I also reposed and added various details to this squad.
The basing includes dying grass around their feet.

No major changes to this one.
Some added smoke to the grenade and a cloth loin-cloth under the metal one.

The next of this Plague Marine squad.

Some minor re-posing and some added tentacles, plus I changed the grenade hanging from his waist to a rotting skull-grenade.

The third Plague Marine of this squad.

The right hand has been rotated from stock to give a more agressive look.

And I added a tentacle as per theme, and it's holding a skull-grenade.

Pox Walkers.

2 squads of 'em. One lot as they came and only painted, the other squad (at the bottom) have been modified to make them unique.

Arm and weapon swaps, plus some additional putty work is what distances them from the vanilla mini's.

Had "fun" researching dead/diseased flesh in preparation for painting these.

One is the vanilla model (white), and the other is my unique conversion (yellow).

Foetid bloat drone, tripod conversion.

I like tripods, Nurgle is all about the 3's, just swap the 3 fans for legs...
Many hours later, you have this.

I also scratch-built the missing weapon options and magnetised all 3.

As with Nurgle the painting involves a lot of pus seeping and, particularly because of the fleshmower, lots of blood splatter.

Some closer views of one of the Foetid bloat drone's weapon options: the Heavy blight launcher.

This was scratchbuilt, but I did use some parts of my previous Helbrute conversion.
The ring of teeth from around the HB's head became the weapon's opening, and one of the exhaust's became the rear of this thing.

The ammo drum is scratchbuilt and the connecting "hose" is magnetised halfway for ease of use with the model.

Close-ups of the other weapons for the Foetid bloat drone tripod conversion.

The default plague-spitters were magnetised but are otherwise unchanged.

The Flesh-mower is scratchbuilt.

Due to the implications of the flesh-mower I added a lot of blood splatter to the model.
