I'm pretty sure the first album I bought on my own was Sgt Pepper's. Blew my mind, and still one of my favorite albums. And led to me spending most of my money in high school on CDs, which is something that hasn't really changed. :4504_aqua_laugh:

Director Sam Mendes has announced plans to make movies about each of the Beatles, intersecting to "tell the astonishing story of the greatest band in history," leading up to their breakup in 1970. The only known painting by The Beatles is about to be auctioned. Here's the story of how the Fab Four painted "Images of a Woman," due to go under the hammer at Christie's New York on Feb. 1.
