Every now and then I come across a road sign which raises more questions than it answers. This is one such sign I spotted today in Bowling just to the west of Glasgow.
“we sat in at the office of Thomas Kurian, the Google Cloud CEO, to protest Project Nimbus, which is a $1.2 billion contract with the Israeli government and military between Google and Amazon.”
“No Tech for Apartheid has published an open letter, co-signed by 18 other groups, that demands Google and Amazon immediately cancel their work on Project Nimbus. The letter has gathered more than 94,000 signatures from the general public.“
Found another great Japanese brand called テトぐるみ tetogurumi, creating tetrapod plushes. Those concrete structures can be found on the cost of Japan for wave-dissipation.
the same creator, under the name マニアパレル Maniac Apparel, is creating great T-shirt for pictotaku like myself celebrating road signs or construction projects like monorails or large public housing building (danshi)
Japanese mathematician/creator Yosuke Ikeda designed this innovative signboard. It’s a clever use of mechanical engineering to merge form and function.
We went to Devon Avenue (Little India / Little Pakistan) yesterday for some shopping. It is Ramadan right now and many places are having Ramadan or Eid sales. The photo is not the best. The day was grey and you can see the reflection in the window. But there is just something that I really liked about the sign.
One of the more iconic signs in River North. I took this on Thursday evening on my way to church for Maundy Thursday. I feel lucky to have seen the sign in this light because I am not usually there at this time.
