I’ve had this account for over a decade and now I can’t get into it on my new phone because YOUR STUFF IS BROKEN. And there’s no way to contact a real person in real time for help with any of the products!!
I’m so mad and I’m so frustrated with this whole phone upgrade. So fuck Apple too.

How do I turn off this unwanted marketing? This is so unlike Proton.
Thinking of making the switch from #gmail to #protonmail .
NGL, the prospect of switching my email is intimidating, to say the least. Ive had gmail since it started basically, so its intertwined in my life. And I wont delete the account because, you know, it's basically impossible not to have gmail, esp since I use #Android Would love any thoughts/advice (don't suggest an iphone. I hate apple products). I do like the privacy aspect and am taking other steps to limit sharing of data. thx!
Thinking of going back to #Gmail, for the simplicity. Contact sync is one missing feature with #protonmail. I'm my case, email is a nuisance not worth paying for.

Yo ya pasé por eso y me di cuenta de que auto hostear el email no es una buena idea. Lo mejor y mas simple es pasarte a un servicio de email privacy-friendly. Yo recomiendo totalmente #protonmail. Tiene un servicio básico gratuito, que es el que yo uso, y otras alternativas más avanzadas que son pagadas.
Although I do like ProtonMail, the implementation of conversation is broken: receiving 2 emails from the same sender with the same subject is NOT a conversation...
Example: on day 1, LinkedIn sends an email with "You have 1 new invitation". 2 weeks later LinkedIn sends an email with "You have 1 new invitation". There is no connection between these 2 emails yet ProtonMail flags them as as conversation!
Skiff got bought up by Notion.
This means that all skiff users need to find a new platform.
Notion does not even offer an email service, so we just lost a big player in the privacy community, very sad that they made this decision. I have considered switching to something like #tuta or #proton.

Ich habe mir letzte Woche den den Service #Skiff man angeschaut. Die Oberfläche ist zwar etwas angestaubt, aber erinnert mich sehr an die frühen Zeiten von OpenOffice/LibreOffice und ist vor allem im Gesamtpaket leistungsstark, auch in der kostenlosen Variante (inklusive Domainverwaltung).
Im direkten Vergleich mit @protonmail werde ich jedoch weiterhin #ProtonMail unterstützen, da mich der Service mit Mail, SimpleLogin Aliase, VPN und Pass(word Management) am meisten anspricht.
Wer eine Alternative sucht und einen guten Mailservice mit Domainanbindung sucht, ist bei #Skiff richtig 😉
