In addition to 🔥 self-destructing emails (https://proton.me/support/expiration), there are many ways to your :

🏷️ Labels & folder
🎭 Aliases w/
🗑️ 30 days auto-delete Trash & Spam
🛑 Block sender
❌ One-click unsubscribe
🕸️ Adjustable filters

Which one is your favorite?

batalanto,

@protonmail So here’s a bit of clutter that gets on my nerves: I disable images in my browser because images are mostly useless bandwidth-wasting clutter. But I am forced to enable images for #protonMail’s website because the CAPTCHA is otherwise dysfunctional (and likely dysfunctional for blind people too). But by enabling image rendering users are then hit with unwanted clutter. It harms people on capped measured rate connections. Please fix this.

@batalanto We don't support this at the moment, as this use case is extremely rare, but we'll pass on your feedback to the team for future consideration.

aidecoe,

@protonmail labels. But I wish it was simpler to apply them (create filter rules without going to settings) and search with logical operators like in notmuch mail.

andrew_williams,

@protonmail Why are all these new features like self-destructing emails and snoozing coming out on the web app but not iOS app?

@andrew_williams Self-destructing emails is not a new feature, however, it's very difficult to implement on mobile. Regarding snooze, it's actually coming to iOS very soon, we're working on it. Among the other features mentioned here, the 30-days autodeletion of Spam and Trash, Block sender and One-click unsubscribe are available on iOS already.
Proton Pass has a separate iOS app.

andrew_williams,

@protonmail yeah I knew about the other features. I was just wondering why the self destructing emails and snooze wasn’t on iOS. Thanks. Web apps just aren’t all they’re cracked up to be on iOS IMO. I use Proton Pass too. Working on transitioning from 1Password to Proton Pass, but the updates lately have been very buggy.

@andrew_williams Thank you for clarifying, Andrew! Could you please contact us at: https://proton.me/support/contact?topic=Proton+Pass to report the issues you've encountered with Proton Pass? We'd like to look into them.

andrew_williams,

@protonmail there’s already a ticket in.

@protonmail Hi. I’m just trying out all things Proton and a quick question.
Can you snooze an email on iOS app? I know you can on the web app but I cannot see a way to snooze it on iPhone.
Thanks.

jpkub,

@sinky @protonmail I don't think that's made its way to android and ios apps yet.

@jpkub @sinky Hi! Indeed, it's currently only possible to snooze email on the web app, but then you get the notifications about snoozed emails to your mobile app too. And you can find the snoozed emails in mobile and desktop apps in the All Mail folder.

We are currently working on adding the feature to our iOS app, so keep an eye on our channels for updates.

@protonmail it's all brilliant. What kind of doofus goes elsewhere? You don't have to answer that
