My last Google Pixel phone was the Google Pixel 4. I didn't upgrade to the Pixel 5 because I didn't see a need to. But now Google has released the Pixel 8 Pro and I wanted to get back to using a Pixel. My previous phones were the Oppo Find X3 Pro and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G. Both great devices with no issues, but the Pixel line interested me more. I skipped the Pixel 5, 6, 7 and the A models in between. I considered the Pixel 6a or 7a but held off. #Tech#Pixel#Google#pixel8pro#Mobile
FLIPPING FINALLY! We can connect glasses and monitors to a Pixel! https://somegadgetguy.com/b/43e
Also, it seems Google has also fixed some of the issues with the Android desktop mode, though it still needs a LOT of work...
#rheinhessen#pixel8pro
Have migrated most iOS apps over to Pixel 8 Pro running GrapheneOS.
I'm impressed by the attention to detail, balancing usability with security. The sand boxing functionality is implemented quite well. It takes some work to implement, but works perfectly.
Decoupling certain app accounts from iOS has been "interesting". Pays to go slow and prudently, especially with 2FAS.
