I think after #DEFCON I will invest more time to enhance my #Mastodon alerter for when I am live on #Twitch, and see about how I can do the same with my @matrix server.
I do have to spin up my AWS environment for my cloud labs, and setup Twingate connectors for Zero Trust Network Access. Once I get the restreamer setup, I will work on adding Simulcast to #YouTube and #Owncast or #Peertube (thanks to @DavBot hosting me), but will require reworking my OBS scenes to be compliant with rules.

Decided to sit down and try to learn #kubernetes despite the fact that I don't have any real need for it on my little home server. Still, it's been interesting and - I won't lie - a bit frustrating at times. It's very much like using a chainsaw to butter my bread for my use case, but I had a nice feeling of satisfaction when I succeeded in getting #owncast set up through it. I've had some odd issues with Docker failing to launch certain containers through containerd that I have not been able to figure out, however.
I was putting thought into maybe redoing my server setup with kubernetes but I sincerely worry that I'll run into this same containerd issue with some of my other apps.
We have used this for live performance streaming, discussions, video premiere parties, the new years fedi stream parade marathon and hopefully more you'd like to bring to the community!
If you have an idea for original programming live or recorded do DM. We have the venue and a global crew of rather friendly listeners if we're being honest 🥰

Zacząłem się przyglądać serwerowi #OwnCast (tak @FOSSGralnia myślę o Was) i znalazłem jakieś holenderskie telewizje, które nadają swój program również z jego pomocą (tzn są też na YT i w kablówkach, itd.).
Technologie FOSS/Fedi nadają się do "poważnych" zastosowań. Jak się chce, to można.
Chyba że się nie chce, lub lobby #GAFAM pilnuje, by w mediach krążyły informacje, że się nie da, nikogo nie ma, nie działa itd 😉
Albo trudniej (mentalnie) zrealizować projekt, jeśli nie da się "dowalić" do ceny oprogramowania marży, bo samo oprogramowanie jest bezpłatne.

If you're not familiar with the project, Owncast is a project thet lets you host your own single-user streaming service, complete with web player, chat, integrations support, etc.
If you're into streaming on Twitch, Kick, etc, but would like something a little more #OpenSource or #Fediverse friendly, check it out.
