Weather is a mess in this corner of the world today. After freezing rain yesterday, it's turned unseasonably warm and the rain is causing the rare situation of puddles on top of the snow.
A bit messy out there, in this locale. Light freezing rain, and poorly cleared roads and sidewalks. Pretty greasy. Temp says -7C which is reasonably comfortable with winds rather light.
Steady snow accumulating all afternoon. We were going to walk to a few errands, but have deferred those to tomorrow.
With it being almost warm-ish (-2C) and our canal opened for skating as of yesterday, there must be a few people have had that uniquely magical experience today of skating in the falling snow.
It's a hard-to-beat experience, though with the wind really screaming out there now, I think the window on doing that comfortably has closed for today.
The week's weather predictions vary a bit by forecaster. Some scenarios have us getting only a dusting of snow here and there, others say maybe 5cm on Tuesday.
General agreement that it's very cold all week though.
