FYI, in #landback movements here, in #Canada - what Israel is doing is abhorred & not supported whatsoever. Almost every #FirstNations here(& around the world) has demonstrated #solidarity support with #oppressed Palestinians & taken several actions to show it.
why should #palestinians have to leave behind their land because #israel wont stop killing them. why should #anyone have to leave behind their #life and memories and sentimental value just because an aggressor is left unchallenged. please think this sentiment through and delete it from your thoughts. instead of blaming an #oppressed#people for living in a hostile land, ask who is making that land hostile to live in.
barring that #palestinian queers have and will always exist and to deem an entire group of #people as being inherently #homophobic is a fucked line of thinking, i do not support #palestine because i happen to agree with their #politics or because i expect #palestinians to lay their life for me. i support palestine because #genocide is, and will always be wrong, because i do not need a reciprocation for me to fucking loathe #oppression and #colonialism, and it scares me that many of you do not truly believe in #liberation of the #oppressed.
Here’s the thing: if you have to live somewhere that is so thinly separated from an #oppressed class that you gotta build a wall, a few electric fences, and just pray, you aren’t living, you are betting against time.
#Slavers, #settlers, and #apartheid#separatists, however stable they may seem in their safe #worlds, are always moments away from a rebellion that run the streets red with the just rage of the oppressed.
If you don’t think the #slaves should rise up, or the conquered should seize back their #lands, or mothers should seek #justice for their #murdered#children, then it behooves you to not live in such places and leave them promptly. Get out and stop living on borrowed time.
It's always, "giving raises and benefits and time off to workers will cause inflation," not "#CEOs and top execs getting millions in yearly raises and bonuses, and large corporations #price-gouging to line #shareholder pockets is causing inflation."
