My mind is boggled, we're at day 20 of #30Inks30Days! Before I know it, it'll be October, then Thanksgiving, and where did all the time go, I have to finish holiday shopping! 😅
Hi, All. Day 18 of #30Inks30Days is up now, with links to previous days if you missed them. Short post this time, switched to a different book since I got to the end of the other book yesterday (they're short).
Hello, All! Day 17 of #30Inks30Days is now up. Thanks to all of you who have been keeping up with the series! Let me know how you're liking the inks so far, and if you have suggestions for other dusky inks.
Birmingham Pen Company has inks specifically meant for mixing your own colors (or theirs, with recipes), and in celebration of lining up a new job I...only bought five (and the dilution stuff, which was on sale and will let me play with improving the too-dark samples I already had). This merits applause.
Hello from a gray day in a suburb in Northern California. Day 16 of #30Inks30Days is now up! I called myself out in the post...about something. Check it out. 😀
I appreciate all who have been following this series. Hope you're enjoying the inks so far.
If you happen to have any dusky inks that you want to recommend, please do, as I do not have 30 dusky inks currently. 😅 I have a contingency plan, but am always open to more dusky ink recs.
Yesterday and today I inked 3 pens with “fall color” inks because it’s getting to be that time in the northern hemisphere. I was surprised I liked these inks because before now I really wasn’t feeling them. Interesting how the season helped me reconsider. What “fall inks” do you like and recommend?
P.S. I’m not saying the inks I used yet because I might use them as supplements to my “30 inks” blog series. Not sure yet, since they don’t fit my current theme. #FountainPens#inks
Day 8 for #30Days30Inks is up! Links to previous days are in the post if you haven't seen them yet. There's another twist in the theme of dusky inks, check it out.
Day 7 for #30Days30Inks is up. Links to previous days are in the post if you missed them. Today's ink is a lovely one (well, they're all lovely, but this one is a favorite).
Days 1-6 of #30Days30Inks. The theme I chose is dusky-colored #FountainPen#inks. The snippets I wrote are from the book Steal Like an Artist, by Austin Kleon. These are written in a Traveler’s Company notebook with lightweight paper, so it’s similar in performance to Tomoe River 52gsm paper, at least in my experience.
