Now I shall try this ink to see if I prefer it to Noodler's "Cayenne". Pilot makes excellent black and blue-black inks, after all, so maybe the red is very good, too. Just did my first cross country (120nm) #flight at night in #VFR! KORL to KOCF back to KORL.
Most important lesson I learned? Don't #fly at night under visual flight rules. I should wait until I get my instrument rating if I want to fly at night.

I bought a bunch of CON-40s to use in my Pilot Elites instead of the annoying plastic converters shaped like the cartridges. But when I put one into one of my older Elites, it felt loose, didn’t seat as securely as I expected. I used it anyway and hope it doesn’t get loose in there. 🤞 Is there another similar converter I should look for?
