Does anyone out there remember the specifics of the Apple engineer that got fired when he got caught trying to hide an image of Britney Spears in some Macintosh ROM? I think I probably read about it in a MacWeek article, but it seems to have sunk beneath the waves where even search engines can't find it anymore…

Just came across a weird #EasterEgg in a new #Anker Prime 20,000 mAh Power Bank: while playing with the single button to cycle through display/function options, the display suddenly switched to something like a couple of eyes (sort of ^ ^ but curved), which animated a little before changing to the Battery Information screen for a few seconds only before then switching off. Definitely deliberate animation rather than glitch.
Can’t reproduce, not seeing anything else online, really curious if anyone else has seen or heard of this? Would appreciate boosts for reach!
Hah, spotted another easter egg in Fringe. This one in the episode "The Firefly" of season 3.
Walter is putting on a pair of red and blue lensed glasses. Astrid says: "That's a good look, Walter", to which Walter responds: "These were created by an old friend of mine, Dr. Jacoby from Washington State ..."
That's obviously a reference to Dr. Jacoby from Twin Peaks, who was wearing the exact same glasses!
