Somebody edited the #OpenStreetMap #EasterEgg wiki page and added the text below.
That sounds like a suggestion to do so in OSM, and seems like a bad idea.

Thoughts?

@richlv 👎 don't tag for the easteregg! it should be easy enough to find usages of OSM by closely looking at something you have mapped in detail. There will be subtle differences or too-good-to-be-true similarities with OSM.

Such details may be the outline of complex buildings, the amount and placement of nodes in curves/roundabouts, the existence and length of usually not comprehensively mapped features such as driveways, etc.

You can also check for known map errors or recently fixed errors.

@richlv yeah that seems like a bad idea that might harm routing and searching clients without really helping fight license violators.
