Just bought some #loops#earplugs in the hopes that they'll help me register what the other person is saying the next time someone talks to me. Stupid background noise.
my [fantastic yet loud] experience at Nectar's Saturday night reminded me yet again that I should be wearing #earplugs when attending concerts.
anyone have a rec on a reliable pair that will protect my ears, cut out the chompers, and still allow for great sound while also not breaking the bank?
I'd like to have a good pair but also don't want it to be something so expensive I'm worried about losing them
One of my kids complained about volume at a social gathering and I’d like to get them some earplugs to help make situations like that work better for them.
Bonus if the #earplug fidelity works well for concerts as they just hit the ‘omg live music is amazing’ phase.
@douginamug Do yourself a favor and get #earplugs for about 30-50€ which usually come with a decent transport box.
Those are so much better than the usual 30 Cent foam thingies where you only hear low frequencies.
Unfortunately, it was only a couple of months ago that I've learned about them. So many #music#concerts would have been a dramatically better experience in sound. 😔
So my Loops have been "returned." I got a refund. Unfortunately, it is not for the entire order, because they deducted the shipping charges to my place.
On the other hand, I get to keep the Loops. I'm thinking that I'll offer them to someone in the local autistic community.
Obviously, I'll mention that they've been lightly used and that they should clean them to their own satisfaction.
So I went to my event and hated the Loop Engage. 😕 I call bullshit on the notion that they are perfect for social gatherings. I had to take them out in order to hear people clearly.
Right now, it looks like I'm going to return my entire order to Loop.
