In Sept 2013 Nate and Jen announced their fork, named Backdrop CMS.
Short after that, mid-September, they published the manifesto.

Ich bin in Berlin bei einer Praxis, die #eRezepte ausstellen kann. Also habe ich heute für Onkel Heise den Weg mit der eGK als Rezept-Anker ausprobiert. Mein Apotheker stecke meine eGK in sein Lesegerät ..... und dann dauerte es etwas über fünf Minuten, bis der Rezept-Server mein Rezept gefunden hatte. Die Apotheker-Kommentare sind nicht druckreif. Andererseits verarbeitet er (der Apotheker) maximal 6 eRezepte in der Woche. #Dontpanic
