The #GOP invited him to deliver a speech before #Congress trying to convince them of the need to attack #Iran. He did so w/o telling or even meeting with #Obama while he was here.
House Speaker Republican Mike Johnson told reporters Tuesday that his office notified Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer’s staff the day before that if the Senate leader does not sign the draft invitation for Netanyahu by Tuesday, he will proceed with inviting the Israeli prime minister to address just the House. The Speaker, however, noted that he would invite senators to attend the speech.
Republicans just don't care what damage they cause in their quest for power sadly.
