#Cook 🇦🇺 in the middle of no… err, in the middle of the #Nullarbor Plain. A fresh-air stop, as remote as it can get: #Adelaide and #Perth are each more than 1,000 kms away. And: it’s THE opportunity for everyone to take pictures of the #IndianPacific, its 27 cars and the loco.
The #IndianPacific 🇦🇺 from #Sydney to #Perth via #Adelaide has got a number of Lounge Cars in its consist: perfect places to unwind, to enjoy some really good coffee ☕️ or a drink.
The first full day on the #IndianPacific 🇦🇺 with an afternoon arrival into #Adelaide. Nice views from the cabin window throughout. On some occasions, when the train is going through a curve, one can see the two engines at the front of the train‘s long consist.
Want to be an AFL media personality? It's easy — just follow the four-step Kane Cornes plan.
Look up which teams that lost on the weekend.
For each of the teams, come up with a reason why either:
a) It's the players' fault. They're too lazy. Don't train hard enough. Don't put in enough effort!
b) It's the players' fault. They're not skilled enough!
c) It's the coach's fault. Bad tactics. Bad strategy. He's allowing those players to be lazy!
d) It's the recruiter's fault. They picked/traded for the wrong players!
Get your producers to find a passage of play, interview, or press conference you can say backs up your claim.
Go on TV or radio and say what you think confidently, as if you're really pissed off about it.
Yeah, the older Richmond players didn't show enough effort. You really don't care — you used to play for Port Adelaide after all.
But you pretend you do on TV and the radio, because it makes great content.
@ajsadauskas@afl the worst part about Cornes isn’t his hatred of the Tigers, or his irrational vendettas against certain players, or even that he’s basically just a clickbait machine. It’s that he’s still an All Australian selector FFS!
Home. First cuppa tea consumed. It's raining here! Sorry, #Adelaide, I really tried to do my best with the rain! Hoping the sore throat is #allergies and #stress and not the spicy cough, because parents refuse to wear masks. Wonderdog sang me the welcome song of her people ("Aroooooo! AROOO roo roo!") which is reserved for special occasions, and I think I'm going to bed, and partner snoozing too. Thank you, MastoFam, for your love and support, you lot are brilliant. #CaityTrip
A shot I took this afternoon of Hera (the white-faced heron) crossing a small waterbridge where a lot of colorful autumn leaves have collected in the stream 🙂 Color and Monochrome versions.
