@luciedigitalni SA Premier Peter Malinauskas's primary election promise was to "Solve the Ramping" at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, he even went around in the back of an ambulance with a film crew pre-election to "help out", years later he hasn't done a single thing about it... Yet when his brother Robert Malinauskas on the board of Santos asked good'ol Pete to stop the protestors protesting against Santos, Peter then passed the fastest piece of legislation in Australia History (in just 12 hours!) to ban protesting with a $50,000 fine and 3 months jail... And no one bat a single eyelid...... And have you seen Pete riding around in any more Ambulances "helping out" lately? Nope!.... Labor are just as corrupt as Liberal, both owned and operated 100% by corrupt corps. I would not trust them even if they said water was wet.

IMO the Australian government should set up its own free equivalent of FB's groups (the only useful bit of it), then ban Facebook from operating here due to its general misinformation dodginess.

@timrichards @TheWarOnCars I'm 48, live in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, and I've never owned a car or had a drivers license. I made the decision long ago that I didn't want to drive and stuck with it. I enjoy hiking and walking places, and places that are far I take public transport, it's not an issue for me at all, and the walking has the added benefits of keeping me fit and extending my life.

@timrichards @TheWarOnCars I'm just up the street from the central markets, and do a 3.5km walk to near the south terrace tram stop to feed the animals in Veale Gardens on South Terrace each morning :)

New in the gallery, a photographic piece 'Veale Heron Silhouette at Sunrise'. "Hera" is a white-faced heron who visits in each day, usually staying for a few months, flying off for a few months, then returning for a few months, and has done this for the last eight years or so :)

Intro:

Born in 1975, Adelaide, South Australia. I was always interested in art, photography & technology, using the old disposable Kodak film cameras from around 1982 at the age of 7 and getting them developed at the counter of the old BiLo stores, in high school I got hooked on all the things I could create on a computer and in 1992 I finished schooling & started my first job at Digitise Pty Ltd writing software & designing graphics, in 1997 I was made Director of Multimedia & Arts at Digitise, when the company closed in 1999 I found work as book setter and graphic designer for Neville Macklin-Cordes OAM JP (former Lord Mayor of Kingscote, Kangaroo Island), his business Statewide & Global Publishing saw me turning files of raw text into completed physical books with illustrations and covers with his KI History Series of 40+ volumes, St Peter's Christian books and other titles, I also created covers for now-deceased author Helen Oliver for her New Zealand Tourism books.

When Neville died in 2021 I did my own book publishing for a short while until I decided to follow my passion for art again, I'd never created art for sale before but in 2022 I decided to focus my efforts there and make it my full time career since, after some confidence-boosting comments from a friend. I bought a better (digital) camera, and sorted through the collection of art I'd created over the years to see what I considered good enough to share, and that basically brings me to current day.

The reason I take a lot of photos & create art from many there is because of my fitness routine, I've had a bad back for years and I started walking to the gardens each day, that's now become a daily habit, walking to the gardens and back to keep my back healthy twice daily, feeding the animals, and taking some photos :)

@melissabeartrix I read the entire article, it didn't say anything about the changes they're going to make, only that the D corp logo would now be on the box... Currently all of the icecreams in the paddlepop boxes are wrapped in plastic individually.... (they should be going back to paper).
