🇻🇪 Teachers in the Venezuelan public education system are the lowest paid in Latin America. They have also been driving some of the largest protests seen in Venezuela since 2020, as they demand improvements to their pay conditions amid sky-high inflation.

The United States is one of the only countries in the world to not acknowledge International Workers' Day / Labor Day on May Day / May 1st. The active denial of comradery by the US of American laborers with our international allies is definitely purposeful. Even as the date was selected based on a historic strike in the US.
We should acknowledge the struggle of the labor movement and workers across the globe.
