I'm looking for a tool/script etc. that can be used to automatically import publications identified by an #ISBN into #WikiData. When searching for "isbn" at https://toolhub.wikimedia.org/, no working solutions are found (or I missed something). There must be such a thing, I don't suppose that existing book items in Wikidata have been entered by hand, given that https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikiProject_Books/en is quite detailed.
I wonder if the RDF Wikidata dump is generated from the JSON Wikidata dump or if it s generated directly from the Wikidata database. In the case that the RDF Wikidata dump is generated from the JSON dump, what is the tool using from it?
Wie lassen sich Vereinsvorstände am besten in Wikidata hinterlegen, so dass der aktuelle Vorstand in der "Vorlage: Organisation" auf einer Wikipedia-Seite entsprechend auftaucht? ^^'
There are many duplicate items for researchers in #Wikidata . Checking a researchers co-authors can reveal such duplicates, if the last name and the initial are the same.
A couple years back, I wanted to make a list of the works by the #SeizBreur artistic movement (the "Breton art-déco")
I couldn't do this on #WikimediaCommons/#Wikidata of course, as most of the works are still under copyright, so I tried to make it with #Notion and while it works and looks nice, it needs some tedious repeated work, and has a lot of limitations in terms of what I can do with the data.
How do I go about deleting wikidata items about me?
Someone has added some personal stuff to wikidata that shouldn't be shared like that. I tried to remove it, but they keep re-adding it. How can I get this personal data deleted? #wikidata#wikimedia
Does anybody know of reasonably efficient workflows to bulk upload bibliographic metadata to #wikidata? Adding items via GUI is annoyingly repetitive and slow. Reconciling and uploading via #OpenRefine is probably one possibility, but that's not trivial. Has anybody come across tutorials or descriptions of workflows? There are also tools such as "Author Diesambiguation" (https://author-disambiguator.toolforge.org/) that would have to be combined with other services. Help appreciated!
I wonder if something like the #WikiLinksBot (the one from #Wikipedia or #Wikidata chat rooms) would be feasible for #Mastodon ?
I'm not sure what happens to [[ ... ]] double brackets though...
The first photo, uploaded to #WikimediaCommons, is of a painting depicting a Philippines Historical Committee marker (shown in the second photo) that commemorates a public square that is named after a doctor.
The doctor, the plaza, and the marker all have #Wikidata items:
