#WritersCoffeeClub 15/5: Have you ever attended a writer's fair / festival to promote your work? Would you?

I have, and I will again.

Having said that, it's hard to promote English-language books on German book fairs. I will only do this because

a) there will be no fee at this particular one
b) I don't have to travel, it's in my home town
and c) because a friend will join me.

Normally, book fairs haven't worked for me. They also fry my brain (#ActuallyAutistic).

Die #Unicon findet statt am 28./29. Oktober 2023, jeweils von 10 bis 18 Uhr, in der Olshausenstraße 75 in Kiel.

Ich war schon mehrmals da (als Autorin mit Stand und Lesung) und kann diese Veranstaltung sehr empfehlen. 🤩

Easier to learn if you already know #Icon or #Unicon. Also if you know #Prolog or #Mercury, which are other languages that have goal-directed evaluation (which which are declarative, whereas the Icon family are procedural).

(Please fork rather than expect support, though. I am an elderly disabled person.)
