Sad to report that I have had to go back regular #Firefox from #Mercury. Unfortunately Mercury has a #bug that causes increased CPU usage on at at least 2 cores, with degrading performance over time. There are also #build issues currently blocking both Mercury and #MercuryAlloy from building successfully. I'll keep checking back to see if that gets resolved. But for now, back to #MozillaFirefox.

The study, carried out in October 2022, found 100 percent of participants were contaminated with the toxic metal, including 84 percent with levels above the limit recommended by the #WorldHealthOrganization, two micrograms per gram of hair.
Another 10.8 percent had mercury levels above six micrograms per gram of hair, which requires special medical attention.

Anyone else have a strange #Firefox / #Mercury bug today? I restarted my computer and suddenly all of my search providers are gone and none of my extensions are in my toolbar. Even the built in toolbar items like "Screenshot" don't work. Including through the context menu. It's as if it's running in safemode, but it's not, cause I tried that too. Just... nothing works.

Question for all the #opensource perverts out there: How "professional" does #code need to be before it is appropriate to share with the world?
I'll tell you why I ask: I spent a couple weeks getting an #automated build server working for the #Mercury browser. It works and is useful, but it isn't "clean". It has custom elements throughout, like curl commands to upload the finished installer via ftp and notify a Rocket.Chat instance.
It isn't a proper "project" but I feel people could benefit.
Finally got my #automated#browser building #server working. Now I'm just eagerly awaiting the next Rocket.Chat notification that an updated version has been built and is available for download.
