Upon reflection, it was a mistake to use birdsong as an alarm sound on my phone for the last year or so.
Goblin Cat has learned that bird chirps mean it is time for the Morning Screams, whereby mother saves her from the Starves. This was not a problem until the birds began singing at Oh Fuck Hundred Hours, and lo, the household has resounded to the Pathos Aria (scored for smol cat with big lungs).

Had to replace the cat trap. The old one had some wear and tear. Ramen has no idea how the chunks went missing out of the sides, and insists the puncture marks are definitely not from teeth.
