Dr. Nesbit kept a trophy from all the kids who didn’t floss. “Only floss the ones you want to keep” he would whisper under his breath while peering down the throats of his recalcitrant patients. Picking stubborn popcorn kernels from between their teeth, he knew who would have the last laugh.
#DentalBraces update! My #teeth hurt AF, but I think I’m starting to see some alignment in the upper ones… About time it moved, because it was way behind the bottom, which now looks waaaay better. Still, it’s only 5 months in…🤷🏻♂️🤡
Okay, so I have a #dentist appointment today. Something I always do literally right before going to the dentist is brush my teeth and floss. One last brush through before I go.
My #DentalBraces update! Bottom #teeth have aligned in an express tempo, it was visibly better just after 2 months. The top ones, especially incisors, refuse to move even a bit…🤡
"Scientists have discovered that the molecule DIM reduces biofilms causing dental plaque by 90%. Its addition to toothpaste and mouthwash could revolutionize dental hygiene."
I had a dental bridge fitted yesterday. All this morning my tongue has been trying to oust the "foreign body" occupying the gap that for decades has been a place to hide beans, peas, toffee and other tooth-sized blobs. Now my cheek has joined in with an "Oi, what's this??"
Not going to get any work done with these distractions.
Yes, Skye, I took more… my Aunt’s three trees have produced over 15,000 apples this year (yes, they count!). They’re donating them everywhere, and leave bags/boxes at the foot of their driveway and people are hauling them off for baking, cider making, everything… 😂 🤷🏻♀️
This is something I've wondered about; some of our #buns have had a very interesting way of eating fresh fruit - they look like they're trying to eat it while touching it with nothing except their #teeth - #lips pulled back, etc. I think they're trying to keep their lips/fur/whiskers from getting sticky.
They don't do it with dried fruit.
Anyone else notice this? Or have we just had a lot of #OCD#bunnies?
"Waterloo Teeth" was a term that established itself after the 1815 #battle.
It expanded to all teeth extracted from battlefields.
A single row of teeth cost ~20 guineas (today: £2150) & was taken from both dead & wounded #soldiers. The teeth thieves scavenged at night, pulling front teeth. The origin wasn't off-putting, as it meant the teeth came from young, fit men.
