Attended the 2023 Let’s Go #Queensland Caravan & Camping Supershow at #Brisbane Showgrounds; the largest caravanning event in the state. Something for everyone from expedition vehicles (📷1), hybrid trailers that transform into larger accommodations (📷2), compact 2-person 4WD motorhomes (📷3), to retro-style caravans (📷4). Quite different from European shows: here the off-road capable caravans dominate—the terrain is much tougher.

Ransomware operator Ragnar Locker have claimed responsibility for an attack against #Australian company from #queensland, Universal Cranes Pty Ltd. However the incident appears to be more widespread, involving all companies of the Smithbridge Group, including Universal Cranes Pty Ltd.

On May 18th the Smithbridge Group did acknowledge and post notice of a Cyber Security Incident, advising that:

“Smithbridge has been impacted by a cyber incident that has resulted in unauthorised access to our systems. This has impacted records held in our systems. It does appear that our data has been impacted. This may include personal information. The security and safety of all affected individuals is our number one priority.” The business also confirmed they had engaged the help of cyber incident responders and notified the OAIC, OPC and the Australian Cyber Security Centre.

The newest development is yesterday, 28th May, the criminals posted on their blog, screenshots accompanied by claims that they’d stolen 239 GB of data and have publicly published it on their darkweb blog site. The criminals say that Universal Cranes Pty Ltd refused to cooperate with them, conduct which is in line with Australian #Government recommendations, and so their data has been posted in retaliation.

It’s likely that now, since the data has been published more updates will be on their way.

If you're concerned or affected by this development Universal Cranes have provided advice and their contact details for further assistance:

Royal visit on our deck this weekend: an Emperor Gum Moth! (Opodiphthera Eucalypti) Check out the wing patterns with four eyes 👀👀 and the fuzzy legs and abdomen! Apparently their caterpillars stay cocooned for a year or more (!) depending on the environmental conditions, and the adults only live for a couple of weeks because they are unable to feed (!!) - they have to rely soley on the energy consumed as caterpillar. Wild!
