I finally unlocked the rest of a quest in Paleo Pines and the archeologist gave me provisions in the form of a slice of cake. I like the way she thinks.

When I found out that my Psittacosaurus was an Ultra Rare colour variant, I thought about trying to focus on getting the rarest of each species, but it sounds like there's a limit to how many dinos I can have on my ranch... So now I'm just going with whatever looks nice to my eye (ie blue, teal, turquoise)

Its way too much fun with some really adorable dinosaur designs.
First image - This is one of those "welp that happened" moments. After a cutscene, instead of loading in their paddocks like they normally do, they all spawned in a massive clump.
I find it funny when it happens.
Second image - What I call my Paleo-dex. Its what I have and havn't friended yet. No they dont fight or anything, they just help you on your farm or adventures. Crossed out ive got one.
so I came to the point of deleting #PaleoPines and this is why: the main storyline quest involves trying to find Lucky’s family. (Lucky is your Parasaurolophus.)
oh, one further thing about #PaleoPines: I am not fucking kidding when I say don't buy the Switch port. when I played the demo on PC it ran fine; the Switch port is actively laggy (especially when picking up or placing furniture, ESPECIALLY when it's troughs or dreamstones) and crashes all the fucking time, as in, an hour of gameplay can expect to see two or three crashes, which often revert you to the GAME DAY START EVEN IF YOU SAVED.

the Switch controls are painful. ask a dinosaur to move and it will sort of saunter around and keep moving after you let up on the controls (sort of slides to a stop. in an unpredictable direction)

After quite a few issues with crashes (this is why I’m usually a console player, lol) I finally managed to get the Paleo Pines demo to run on my (REALLY not gaming-equipped) laptop and it’s so FREAKING CUTE! 🥰 If you like farming games, dinosaurs and Animal Crossing and have a Steam account, check out the demo there - you won’t regret it! 🥰 I want a Lucky in real life! @paleopines
