Decided to give #Notion another go, though mostly as my online knowledge base (I have a student account). I won't, however, be using it for anything [too] personal or sensitive, due to their security issues.
Has anyone used #Anytype? Purports to be a secure, open source, local-first alternative to #Notion and #Obsidian. Mac, Linux, Windows, iOS and Android clients.
They give you 1Gb of free synced remote storage, but you have unlimited storage via secure P2P syncing.
Is this beautiful code? No. Is this really ready for release? No. But whatever, I love to #BuildInPublic even if it means that everyone can see how much I still need to learn :-p

Je galère à organiser mon travail de mes tâches pro (plusieurs clients) et perso (et aussi les notes). Je me retrouve avec des tâches et notes dans 3 #Nextcloud différents, je ne sais pas trop comment rassembler tout cela pour avoir une vue journalière et à la semaine.
J'ai essayer avec #Thunderbird mais le gestionnaire de tâche est pas fou (ou alors je ne sais pas l'utiliser).
Des outils pour faire cela ? 🤔
Peut-être via #notion ou #outline ?
Je n'ai jamais été la personne qui prend beaucoup de notes, encore moins celle qui en fait un usage efficace.
Mais ces derniers temps je me questionne sur les outils comme #Notion. J'ai l'impression que pouvoir lier les notes et donc gérer un graphe peut donner du sens à la prise de notes pour moi.
J'avais testé un peu #obsidian, mais sans être convaincu. Je pense que l'interface est un peu trop austère pour moi. Et que ça ne m'apporte pas grand chose de plus que mes bons fichiers markdown édités dans notepad et synchronisés avec nextcloud.
Notion attire plus l'œil mais l'aspect SaaS et le manque de contrôle sur les données est un nogo pour moi.
Maintenant j'ai découvert #anytype il y a quelques mois. J'ai l'impression que ça recouvre les fonctionnalités essentielles (pour moi) de Notion avec la promesse de mieux posséder ses données et un fonctionnement hors ligne.
Je l'ai installé mais jamais vraiment utilisé.
Je pense que je vais me mettre à l'essayer sérieusement. Ce qui me questionne quand même est que la possibilité de self host est mise en avant mais quand on fouille il faut passer par une compilation des clients. J'imagine que très peu de gens font ça. Ça me galère, je ne pense pas le faire alors que j'en aurai les compétences et que c'est important pour moi. C'est juste trop de temps et d'énergie.
Est-ce que des gens ont des retours sur ces outils, comment et pourquoi ils les utilisent ?

So I’ve been trying to use Apple Notes as my notes “Brain” so to say. I keep finding myself wanting to go back to Notion due to the lack of functionality in Apple Notes.
I’m thinking about switching apps. What does everyone use as their go to note taking/organizing app?
Some that I’m considering is Drafts, Bear, and Obsidian.
Ok Notion just wins in notetaking apps. Sometimes I'll read a writeup on my phone and think "this would be a good article to add to my Red Team notebook."
When I send the article to that folder, it extracts all text and images to it's own page. Not only can I read/annotate through the whole article now, but if I ever search for something through my entire notebook, keywords from said article would be identifiable #Notion

I’m planning to build a workflow to share interesting links to a couple of different platforms. Sometimes here, sometimes a couple of Slack channels, Discord, a #linkblog, etc.
But still undecided on where I should save the links to be shared. Two requirements:
I must be able to add a bit of text, for my comment on the link, and also have a way to tell Make where the link should be shared. Like tags, checkboxes for different platforms, or some other way.
Low-friction points process to save new links, with the needed metadata, from both iOS and MacOS.
Bon, #Notion m'agace avec ses ralentissements du coup je cherche des alternatives qu'on peut auto-héberger, j'ai regardé du côté d'#Obsidian mais il n'est pas open source... Des idées ?
Ich habe wieder angefangen Notizen (und so einiges mehr) in #Notion zu organisieren.
Ich weiß auch noch warum ich es damals aufgegeben habe: Textbearbeitung am Telefon oder Tablet ist grauenhaft (versuch mal mehrere Absätze Text auf einmal zu selektieren).
Aber wenn man sich davon verabschiedet und größere Textarbeiten am Rechner macht, ist das restliche Feature-Set sehr überzeugend.

Eu tenho minha lista de compras lá e gostaria de melhorá-a.
Atualmente é uma todo list onde o que eu clico é o que eu preciso comprar.
Cada grupo de todo está separado por um H2.
Só que o item não se mexe, ele fica dentro do H2, estático.
Eu gostaria que ele andasse pro topo de toda a lista e facilitasse minha visualização, assim eu não preciso ir em grupo por grupo para saber o que preciso comprar, o que tem me feito perder alguns itens. #notion
