So Niantic have announced that you can now recycle Apex boosts, but it'd be REALLY great if you could recycle the crappy fireworks, beacons and so on AS WELL, as they're a lot less useful than the boosts (except maybe the battle beacons, if folks in your area are into that kind of thing).

@Pentapod Yeah, going out in that is not safe! Fortunately the only game like that I've been playing lately is Pokemon Sleep which doesn't involve going out at all. ;) Fortunately it doesn't seem to get that cold here at least. It's 32F/0C right now.

We need each other to level. To keep the game fun. For some healthy competition.
So while I Toot about Smurfing my town, I'm still very much open to chat with other players, no matter what faction you're playing.

@nic@elisse I do enjoy a challenge 😊 although level 8 portals do suck as my lvl 5 isn't up for those really. Not on my own. Two active frogs are level 16 here so they don't have any issue with my portals 😂
@nic@elisse yeah without a nice learning curve it may be a bit boring I guess so I get your point. But if newbies wanna level, it's better to give them something to do 😉
I've recently been playing some #IngressPrime when a friend told me I might like it...
I'm still not sure about all of the options on the game. I just got to level 5.
I went with the "blue team" that seems less of a favorite, seeing their numbers. I've been doing my best capturing portals and all that. I dunno if there's any players near me, but I'd love to learn more about the game! 😁
@PlaystationPixy it's a shame that so many people bounce off #Ingress when they start, but I also like that it's a bit “underground” and nerdy, and that everything isn't laid out on a plate for you, and that the game can be played in many different ways.
@nic yeah it's definitely a good game and has many layers and ways to play. I am enjoying it. But leveling does take quite some time! I'm still level 5 and I've been doing my best on foot to get portals, to keep them up and all that. 😊
@tschigi Unser Gemeindezentrum in einer verkehrsberuhigten Sackgasse wurde 2x abgelehnt mit der Begründung das Foto sei schlecht. Offenbar reicht ihnen die Grosse & kleine Beschriftung am Haupteingang nicht. Denkst du ich soll es noch mal mit dem öffentlichen Notizboard vor dem Haus versuchen? Das ist der einzige Ecke die ich noch nicht miteingereicht habe & Niantic scheint ja manchmal Infotafeln zu mögen. 🥴
@DaniDanis Ja, auf jeden Fall nochmals probieren! 👍 Wenn es einen offiziellen Link zum Ort gibt auch den mitschicken. Ich selbst kriege Wayspots von Frankreich und Italien zum Bewerten, wenn man dann nichtmal die Sprache der Eingabe versteht wird auch die Bewertung schwierig (obwohl da ja immer die Option zum Übersetzen mit dabei ist). Hilft wohl auch nicht, dass praktisch jeder zweite die Regeln zum Bewerten anders als sein Nachbar auslegt 😁
