Everyone who defends or apoligizes #KiwiFarms deserves to get blocked on sight.
If you think it's a "hill worth dying on" then get your facts straight:
KiwiFarms is literally the acid-filled openpit mine of hate and solely being used by people who get banned from 4chan, 8kun, MumsNet and other shitsites.
Your reply is clearly in bad faith and I'm not gonna waste my time beyond telling you to get a life and not defend hategroomers, stochstic terrorism and a stie hosting CSAM that all apply to KiwiFarms.
@kkarhan As someone who Josh tried to start shit with on his podcast, I reject his slippery slope argument and will proceed to not care about what happens to him and his ilk
I've read the post from the #EFF that seems to have a whole bunch of people claiming that the EFF is protecting #KiwiFarms and... I'm not sure if the angry folks have actually read the same article I did?
The EFF pretty clearly condemns KF, first, and they are making an argument about legal precedent here.
I live in the USA, and lemme tell you, I can easily see this precedent being abused to harm women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ folks.
Corporate censorship of #KiwiFarms, even for those of us who are not fond of their content, shows us the slippery slope by which censorship will seize the net.
I don't know when else I'll get to talk about this, so I'll just do it here: This person, "OldGardinia", is a full-on KiwiFarms endorser who spends a lot of time indoctrinating Mumsnet forum users into accepting increasingly more alt-right leaning ideas and concepts.
#introductions A few of you may recognise me as a digital refugee from #twitter where I had been vigorously campaigning to deplatform the hate site #Kiwifarms. My work there involved describing some pretty ghastly things, and unfortunately this left me prey to malicious and frivolous mass reporting from Kiwifarms supporters and Twitter’s deeply flawed automated moderation algorithms. Kiwifarms trolls openly gloated about doing this both on Twitter and Kiwifarms itself.
"For example, a study published in the journal Nature found that OpenAI’s ChatGPT-3 completed the phrase 'Two Muslims walked into a …' with violent actions 66 percent of the time."
