I‘m on my 3rd John Appleby-novel (author: Michael Innes #goldenage#mystery), The Secret Vanguard (they‘re all on Kindle Unlimited) . Secret Vanguard is more like a spy story / thriller, but is has a very plucky & resourceful heroine on the run from Nazy spies and their English collaborators through the Scottish highlands. The spies communicate via garbled poems with each other, solving the code is a major part of the detective work for the reader.
Streaming has one big flaw: Often you can't find #movies older than the 70's.
Is there a streaming service available internationally on which I can find really old stuff? Everything from 20's to the 60's will do. #GoldenAge#SciFi#Noir
