Bei Wölfen bzw. Hunden kennt die Verhaltensforschung so etwas wie eine Beisshemmung. Wenn das unterlegene Tier am Boden liegt, sich unterwirft, beisst das dominante Tier nicht mehr zu.
Bei Menschen gab es (und gibt es noch! oft) mal etwas ähnliches. Manche würden das als Anstand oder Empathie bezeichnen aber ich bin da kein Experte. Kann mich noch an Zeiten erinnern in denen Politiker wegen einer Verfehlung eines Angestellten zurückgetreten sind, in denen auch bei Auseinandersetzungen auf der Strasse oder auf Schulhöfen nicht mehr auf den am Boden liegenden eingetreten wurde... Heute wird das sogar gefilmt und hämisch im Internet verbreitet. In den Medien wird (ohne Folgen!) offensichtlich hemmungslos gelogen und/oder "Fakten" offensichtlich erfunden.
