So, ich habe original jetzt seit gestern 6h lang RSS- und Feedreader ausprobiert. Ich wollte "entcluttern" und die Marie Kondo der Webinhalts-Tsunamis werden. Wichtige Kriterien dabei:
Gut anpassbare Listen/Magazin-Views
Vernuenftige Widgets fuer Android/IOS
Leichter Import/Export
Einfache Sortierung
Newsletter-Abos (wichtig!)
Social Media Integration
Offline-Funktion
Vernuenftige Volltext-Suche
Nach Feedly und Readwise bin ich nun beim Inoreader gelandet und gluecklich!
Getting back into RSS after finding an app I like for Android, Feeder (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nononsenseapps.feeder.play). Only thing I don't like about it is that when you read something, it marks it read instantly & removes it from your feed altogether instead of just leaving it there read like I'd prefer.
But you can save favorite posts before you close/back out of them for reference - you just have to remember to do it.
Other than that, Feeder is a GREAT app with an excellent simple, intuitive UI. I now have 30 blogs in it that I follow and check regularly.
@jake4480 "removes it from your feed altogether". Not really, it has by default a setting not to show read articles, it is easily configurable in the menus in the right top corner. #feeder#rss
Se usas Feeder para ler as túas fontes no #android :android: , na próxima actualización, na versión 2.6.15, vai incluír o #galego :galicia: como lingua da interface.
I have decided to revive my https://SeerOfSouls.com website as I want to get back into blogging about various things and doing a few more reviews of tech products like I once used to do.
This is still very much a huge work in progress, but it's a start at least.
I'd like for all of you to give some feedback and opinions about the site if you have any or point out any issues you might see.
Btw, I do really enjoy using #rss for keeping up with news, however even using five filters full text #rss I keep running into sites, that won't allow me to get the full content in the feed (looking at you @omgubuntu )
Any tips in how to get all my content into #rss so I won't have to visit the site?
What is your favourite #fdroid app? Would be interested if I can discover a few new cool apps, I missed until now. Thank you already for sharing! @fdroid
Chickadee: flies to feeder, grabs single seed, flies to tree to diligently open and eat it. Repeat.
Goldfinch: flies to feeder, grabs seeds and starts flinging them away: “too long!”, “too wide!”, “too seedy!”, “Shells?!” Gets bored, flies off to complain with friends.
Following a #system improvement work on 6 August 2023, the real-time data location #tracking for #MRT#Kajang and #Putrajaya Line #feeder#buses on PULSE, MyRapid-Bus Kiosk and Google applications could not be displayed from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
I used to listen to #podcasts through Google, then through Spotify, then Spotify Lite, and now I just love listening to them raw through #firefox and the RSS feed (#elfeed on my pc, #feeder on my phone). There are tradeoffs -- can't share as easily, don't have playlists of them, can't cast. But I also don't have things getting paused accidentally by the service or by others on my account (there are no accounts at all!), and I don't need to worry about things tracking/sharing my listening data. At least, not for podcasts. It's the way podcasts were meant to be!
Oh boy, #ThursdayFiveList brought back some memories. I immediately thought of Feeder's Seven Days In The Sun although I haven't listened to this song in 14(!!!) years (according to #lastfm)
Now, the suffle-mode-god decided to play another #Feeder gem, which I've almost forgotten by now. It is not even in my lastfm history (so it must be more than 17 years):
