'NEW' The Assembly Worker presents Tales From The Otherhood.
A collection of works from 2008, a complicated time for me culminating being locked in a room for 2 weeks doing cold turkey, where I had visions of converting to Islam and moving to Damascus...
Don't forget to tip your host as well, after all, they made Faircamp for the very fair price of $0 and deserve some love for that: https://ko-fi.com/simonrepp
Don't forget to tip your webring host, as well, for making and maintaining the webring: https://ko-fi.com/key13
It's #BandcampFriday#FaircampFriday tomorrow. I have nothing new to promote, but if you want to post a link here to your stuff, I'll happily boost it.
I think it's always useful to add a short description as well so people can judge if it might be of interest or not.
Today we have a shameless plug for #BonkKnobRecords and our brand new #Faircamp site, where you can grab all previous releases including the equally brand new #BonkWaveAllstars single for nowt!
With all that saved money you could consider making an independent artist happy by supporting them, buying one of their releases, or if you're strapped for cash, praising or sharing their work.💕
@axwax A few weeks ago, I spend like, I think, an hour trying to find out what Bonkwave is all about. I understand that there being no definition is kind of the meme, but from an outside perspective I got the impression that it's a bunch of people who enjoy being obscure and confusing, and I didn't find that welcoming at all, so I'm staying away from everything related to it.
Just some feedback because of "friendly space with friendly musicians", nothing that you need to do anything about.
Ok, just on the off chance that it is some caching issue from when I first posted a broken version (and then maybe that got federated?), here's one more attempt with a different URL. If it still doesn't work then I admit defeat (for now at least).
This #FaircampFriday my two recommendations are once again covering quite a musical range:
On one end we have the beautiful solo piano compositions of Johann Bourquenez, ranging from dones to Jazz pieces, and on the other the beaty, gritty, quirky and always inventive electronica of protman.
I've had yet another looong and tiring day of olive harvest today, but having a whole bunch of fresh #Faircamp releases to listen to made for a fun day of work!
for this #BandcampFriday I will redirect you to my bran new #faircamp site with a decent selection of my noise & musiques (more to come), and options to stream/download/purchase digital and physical:
