@adrianfry Yes, FPTP is crappy. But people could (in super-reality theory) just all vote for a new contender or party, but things just don't happen that way.
Politics just creeps in a general direction because - I assume - many people just accept the situation as normal so are happy to continue voting for it. It's also normalised by media.
