In the Badia desert, strategic area. The two circles are Iran's only logistic lines to Damascus and Lebanon. My guess is the attack was calculated to create tension for Jordan when the US retaliates. That's why my plan would be to strengthen at Tanf border position.
Then focus on Baghuz to the northeast on the Syrian/Iraqi border and clear it of Iranians using the full might of the US air force. What we do there won't have much impact on Jordan and will give us the best strategic result when we cut Iran off from the Mediterranean
Show needed: Syria for the long haul & won't abandon the SDF and AANES again we might convince them that holding the border until the Constitutional process is completed & a new fully democratic Syria emerges is in their long-term best interest.
Unknow if the Syrian Free Army has sufficient forces to assist in holding Baghuz, would be helpful to have more Sunni Arab participation in the efforts to liberate Syria from oppression.
