found the rest of a discarded wallet on the street, just filled with the remaining cards the thief did not take. brought it to police station. was mistake, because it took over an hour. next time I try not to get fingerprints on it and drop it at police station mailbox.
@kaia had that happen too me too. They asked me to wait in line for turning in a lost wallet. Suddenly when I said I can also take the wallet with me and not turn it in everything went quickly and the whole process took "only" 15 minutes because they had to take my information. Germany I guess :neocat_police:
@kaia still, I should thank on behalf of my past self! One day (in Paris) my wallet got stolen in the underground and when I realized it I started thinking about all the paperwork I would have to do to remake my ID card and driving license etc. but a few days later I got a phone call from the police and someone had found it and it had almost everything in it! I was SO happy and relieved…
