I have a question for all you rice-cooker jockeys out there: do you make just the rice you are about to eat, or do you make a big batch and fridge some of it?

Anyways, it depends. If I make egg fried rice, then ideally I want to use 1 day old rice. Otherwise, I make the amount I need.

That makes sense. But I feel dumb cooking 1/3 of a cup of rice at a time...

@dogfox Yeah I can understand that. In my experience, reheating rice doesn't really do the flavours much of a favour.
