@jacqueline Digikey changed the quantity display to show the "mfg standard packaging" size sometime in the last couple years. It's nice to not have to guess based on other part listings. Does Mouser do something similar?
@jacqueline With the "more than you expect" on the package, I would expect that there's at least 5001 parts in it. But then again, I should expect at least 5002...
