My point is, they don’t breathe unless some oligarch or oil lobbyist tells them to. All they hear is “EV bad, make law so EV go bye” and they’re on it.

I think that Fossil Fuels $'s are only 50% of the problem. A culture war is really all the Republicans have, so they waging them on all fronts. Even where no money is flowing.
The money I guess, just motives them harder.
