The huge protests continue as the government of Georgia (the old one, in Europe) again tries to pass the "Putin-law"/"Russia-law" on demanding registration on "foreign agents" by the pro-Putin regime, while the people are overwhelmingly in favor of instead nearing the (supposed) ideals of the European Union.
Here, according to SOTA, some of the protesters move from the original protest location to another avenue because they were too many.

SOTA further on the protests against the protests against the "Putin-law":
"Riot police fired tear gas. Protesters move away from parliament onto the streets adjacent to the central Rustaveli Avenue [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rustaveli_Avenue]."

Water cannons and tear gas into the night in the capital city of Georgia, as the people kept protesting against the overwhelmingly unpopular "Putin-law" during the bill's second reading, reported SOTA, also noting that the third reading is scheduled for the middle of May.

More photos of the harsh repression in the capital of Georgia during the night to today against protesters opposed to the overwhelmingly unpopular so-called "Putin-law"/"Russian law" being imposed by the ruling party.

Protests continue in Georgia's capital against the "Putin-law"/"Russian law", as the bill was approved on its second, penultimate reading.

If it is finally approved, which seems extremely likely, all NGOs and media outlets receiving >20% "foreign" funding must declare themselves as "foreign agents" with onerous additional financial scrutiny, etc.
Same type of legislation that has been used in other places like Egypt and Russia to effectively make presence of worldwide-active human rights organizations or worldwide-covering news-outlets untenable and thus the government gets rid of the human rights defenders and shuts the eyes of both the domestic populace and of the rest of the world.

Praxis tips from Georgia tonight:
1: Taking care of repressive surveillance.
2: Sheltering together from water cannon.

After the center of parliament was secured with shields and that breach closed, the protesters in Georgia barricaded in the special forces so they are now ensieged and unable to retreat, reports SOTA

Insert your own pun about trash (bins) and cops here, if you want to.

In the capital city of Georgia during the night to today an estimated up to 200000 people participated in yet another protest against the "Putin-law"/"Russian law" on requiring NGOs, journalists and others to register as "foreign agents" same way as has been used to crush human rights organizations and free press elsewhere previously, reported SOTA with these two videos by Ezz Gaber.
