@taylorlorenz If it's any kind of freelance writing they want to offer like two cents a word, even for native English speakers with writing experience and higher education.

@taylorlorenz I got paid about $800 in 1986 for a long short story that appeared in a trade paperback anthology. You're lucky to get over 100 these days for something of the same length.
